DDL Tournaments - Rules & Conduct Guidelines
Start Time & Presence
- All players must be present at the official start time stated in the Tournament Info sections.
- The player on the top in the bracket is the home player and is responsible for sending the game invite.
- All first round games must be started no later than 15 minutes after the start time.
- Any player not present by this time will forfeit their match, regardless of the reason.
Next Round Contact Rule
- Once a match result is submitted, players advancing to the next round must make contact with their opponent immediately.
- If one player attempts to contact their opponent and receives no response within 5 minutes, the waiting player may be awarded the match win.
- Proof of attempted contact (such as tournament chat messages, WhatsApp messages, or screenshots) may be requested by admins.
- Players are responsible for staying active and available throughout the tournament.
- Repeated failure to respond in a reasonable time may result in removal from future tournaments.
Check-In, Reserves & Bracket Generation
- Check-in opens 2 hrs and 30 minutes before the start time
- All players must check in within 2 hours (30 minutes before the start time)
- Any player not checked in by then will be removed from the tournament
- Reserves are added to the tournament in the order they joined
- Checked-in reserves will be prioritised over non checked-in reserves

- The tournament bracket will be generated immediately after check-in closes
- Once the bracket is generated, no further changes will be made
